Why don’t you have a telephone number?

MobileLINK Asia does not provide a telephone number because this results in increased fixed-expenses that we must pass along to all of our customers, even if only a few need to call. We are very much here for our customers, but we prefer to keep our operating costs low and pass the savings on to YOU.

What countries can I call unlimited?

Our current unlimited calling countries are:

MobileLINK Asia lets you to choose the most convenient way of communicating for you. With no contracts, extra fees, or hidden charges

How our Plans work:
Call from your exsisting landline or mobile…   Dial a unique local access number and follow the simple prompts…   Enter the full international number in Asia you want to call.
You can use any cellphone, landline or VoiP* phone to call our local access number. Once you call our local access number an automated voice system will guide you on how to make calls.

How VoIP works:
Call from your PC, laptop, or VoIP enabled phone or mobile…   From anywhere in the world with a internet connection.   Enter the full international number in Asia you want to call.
Use your broadband internet connection to maximise savings. Get the same great savings wherever you are in the world.

Is it really Unlimited calling?

YES, YES and YES, Our services are  REALLY UNLIMITED!

There are NO hidden charges, NO international connection fees. You just pay ONE LOW FLAT MONTHLY FEE. That’s All.

Our unlimited usage is for personal use. Our services may NOT be used for home office, business, corporate or resale and may not be shared.

What is the coverage area for your service?

Clients can call from anywhere in the world. We offer local numbers to most locations, however some carriers my charge local or long distance charges. Some of our most popular are USA, Canada, UK, Australia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland. We work with our clients directly to find the best available route. We have local access numbers in over 70 countries.

We will try to provide a local access number in the same area as the originating call. You must check with your local carrier to verify there is no long distance charges. Access numbers are usually landline based numbers and may not be considered free on some landlines or cellphones. If a local access number is not available in your area you may change your plan without any charge to our Skype or Voip Plans.

Am I limited to just calling one number?

NO, all of our calling plans allow you to call multiple numbers.

Do the people I call require a special sim or phone when calling the Philippines?

As long as they use Globe, Smart, Touch Mobile, Red Mobile or SUN Cellular service there’s no special phone, sim or other hardware required.

Is a computer or internet required to use the plans.

NO computer or internet is required for our standard Lite Plan or Ultimate Plan.

Our VoIP Asia Plan and Skype Plan require broadband internet with a computer or ATA adapter to make a call. NO computer, internet or special hardware is required for the receiving party. You may dial direct to any of our Asia countries to any number.

How can you afford to offer great unlimited service at a low monthly rate?

Several factors are involved in our affordable unlimited calling plan solutions. We take pride in our state-of-the-art network, which allows for more cost-effective service and less dropped calls. We also eliminate the need to count and track monthly minutes and purge the waste associated with printing detailed bills. By simplifying our business, we can pass the savings along to our customers.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, PayPal and AlertPay

Are there any additional costs added to my monthly bill?

NO. All you pay is your calling plans fee. There is no additional hidden charges.

What are the Requirements?

- A Valid ID is required for signup.

We do not resell or use any information given to use other then for the purpose of setting up the account and or for any legal purpose.

Can I use MobileLINK Asia’s calling plans for business?

NO, our plans are designed for personal and family use by a single person.

How long does it take to activate my account?

Accounts are activated within 24 hours.

When will I be charged for the service?

Payment is due before your next billing to continue uninterrupted services.
You will receive an invoice 3 days before your next months billing.
If you have paid with credit card your card will be automatically charged monthly until you cancel your service.

Can I cancel at any time?

We hope you won’t, but yes, you may cancel at any time. There is NO contracts.

Do you offer a money back guarantee?

Try MobileLINK Asia’s service if you are dissatisfied, for any reason, you may cancel the service within 3 days of activation and receive a refund. A $8 setup and usage fee will be deducted along with any other setup fees for addons, extras and access numbers, the remaining balance will be refunded. We will refund your money, with no questions asked. The cancellation procedure is simple – just send us an eMail or submit a Support Ticket.

Terms of our Money Back Guarantee:

To cancel your service, eMail us or submit a Support Ticket. You must cancel your service within 3 days of the activation of your account. Your outgoing calls must not exceed 90 minutes of use. You will be responsible for additional charges such as other setup fees for addons, extras and access numbers. When conditions above have been met, you will receive a refund. The refund will be returned back to your account.

Money-Back Cancellation Policy Summary:

To cancel, you must not exceed 90 minutes of usage in the first 3 days of service.
You must cancel your service within 3 days of the activation of your account.
A $8 setup and usage fee will be deducted along with any other setup fees for addons, extras and access numbers.
You must not have signed up for any commitment program.
You must not have previously used MobileLINK Asia’s Money Back Guarantee.
No refund will be given if these conditions are not met

What happens if I forget to pay my monthly service bill?

If you forget to pay your monthly bill, your service will be temporarily suspended for 5 days. After 5 days your account will be marked as inactive.

We will send you a email reminder 3 days before your monthly bill is due.

To receive continuous service, remember to pay your monthly bill before the due date. If you are having trouble remembering to pay your bill, you may use a credit card or paypal for automatic billing.

A $5 fee will be charged for reopening a inactive account.

How do I cancel my plan?

To cancel your MoblieLINK Asia Plan:

1. Sign into the Client Area

2. Click on “My Products & Services

3. Click on the service you want to cancel.

4. Click on the “Request Cancellation” button towards the bottom of the page.

You will have the option to cancel IMMEDIATELY (you will no longer be able to use your account) or at the END OF YOUR BILLING period (you will be able to continue to use the service till your account expires.).

Cancellations must be done at least 48hrs before the next billing to avoid automatic rebilling. No refunds will be issued for late cancellations.

IMPORTANT TODO FOR PAYPAL USERS: Login to your Paypal account and be sure to cancel automatic payments. If you do not do this your Paypal account will continue to send money.

How often can I change my quick dial numbers?

Ultimate Plan: May change numbers as often as you like.

Lite / Skype Plan:  May change quick dial numbers once per month or a total of 9 changes per month. Changes above the 9 will take effect the next month.

How can I update my Quick Dial contacts?

To change your Quick Dial Contacts:

1. Sign into the Client Area

2. Click on “My Details” link.

3. Enter the Quick Dial name and number.

QUICK DIALS ARE UPDATED WITHIN 5 MINS.

IMPORTANT: Users not subscribed to the Ultimate Plan may change quick dial numbers only once per month or a total of 9 changes per month. Additional changes will not take effect till the next month.

All updates are automatically processed by our system.

How do I dial my international number?

Just dial: country code + area code + phone number

Why do I get disconnected after X amount of time?

Currently there are limitations set on some networks by the provider.

As of now they are as follows:

Philippines:
– Smart Network 5mins
– Globe Telecom 30mins
- SUN Cellular 45mins

You can reconnect immediately once disconnected.

These limitations are NOT set by us. They are limitations of the Network Carrier.


Technical

Is there a soft-phone for my IPhone?

YES, there are soft-phones available for IPhone. We do not have a branded soft-phone of our own. (yet)

We recommend Bria for IPhone by CounterPath.

If you have a JailBroken IPhone you can search cydia for a free SIP VoIP application.

Where can I get a soft-phone for my computer?

Here are some free soft-phone applications for Windows / MacOS / Linux.

Is there a soft-phone for my Android Phone?

YES, there are soft-phones available for Android. We do not have a branded soft-phone of our own. (yet)

Our users recommend csipsimple it is an open source project hosted on google.

Softphones

A softphone is a software application which allows you to make and receive phone calls from your computer. These applications are great for trading and even work from a hotspot or other wifi Internet connection.
